About Kip Poole

Chef Kip Poole’s 30-year culinary journey is proof that food has the power to bring people together. He started out washing dishes as a teen and quickly made his way to the spotlight on shows like Guy’s Grocery Games and The Big Brunch. But at the heart of it all, Kip’s true passion has always been whipping up unforgettable dining experiences and mentoring the next generation of chefs.

In 2014, Kip founded The CROP Foundation, a nonprofit that’s helped hundreds of students gain real-world kitchen skills. And in 2024, he launched Yorkies, a modern deli marker that combines his love for incredible food with a commitment to community and sustainability.
