FCC Publishes SIM Swap/Port-Out Fraud NPRM in Fed. Reg.

On December 14, 2023, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“FNPRM”) seeking comment on additional measures to protect consumers from SIM swapping and port-out fraud, thereby setting the comment and reply comment dates.

Comments are due on or before January 16, 2024.

Reply comments are due on or before February 12, 2024.
