Share evidence to Magnet Review from Axiom Process

Enabling timely and effective sharing of digital evidence is vital to keeping your investigations moving. As part of Axiom 8.9, we’ve added the ability to automatically share evidence to a cloud-based Magnet Review account from Axiom Process, as it is being processed.

With this latest integration you can add data to new or existing Magnet Review cases and the data can be shared with your stakeholders directly from Axiom, either as it begins to populate in Review or when all the data transfer has been completed. Once shared, you can start work on the case in Axiom while your stakeholders are reviewing evidence using Review’s intuitive user interface with powerful search tools. Magnet Review provides your stakeholders with the ability to easily collaborate on the case adding tags and comments from any web browser—no special hardware or software is required.

Improved chat threads in Exhibit Builder

Every day, billions of messages are shared using text messaging and messaging apps like WhatsApp, WeChat, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, and others. To help you effectively capture message threads in your reports, we have continued to improve and refine the ability to include segments of chat threads in Exhibit Builder.

When exporting message threads to Exhibit Builder, you can maintain the “chat bubble” view of the native applications helping you to easily include the context provided by the sequence of these messages. To add chat threads in your reports, you simply select and export the applicable chat snippets in Axiom and the threads will be added to the Axiom case folder and automatically imported into Exhibit Builder when that case is loaded.

Magnet Exhibit Builder is included with both Axiom Cyber and the Premier tier of Axiom, if you haven’t had a chance to try out Exhibit Builder don’t hesitate to request a free trial today

New Magnet Idea Lab Beta—Event Snapshots in Magnet Axiom

With the overwhelming volume of data in a case, knowing where to start can be a persistent challenge for both forensic examiners and investigators. We are providing early access via the Magnet Idea Lab to an upcoming Axiom feature, Event Snapshots, that helps focus investigations on the digital events surrounding an incident.

Event Snapshots helps forensic examiners and non-technical users save time by narrowing the investigative scope with a new interface that provides clear insights at-a-glance, helping investigative teams quickly uncover key evidence. The results of Event Snapshots can easily be shared in a small Axiom Portable Case file that can quickly and easily be opened and reviewed by investigators and prosecutors.

To learn more about Event Snapshots in Axiom or to sign up for the Beta via the Magnet Idea Lab, visit www.magnetidealab.com and click “Apply Now” to fill out the application form.
