KME.digital has begun pilot actions for our WestXDC initiative at the Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival.
We are presenting and moderating a dialog with community leaders and experts – April 29th at 1PM – regarding the “Creative Innovation Economy”, as part of the Northern Virginia Innovation Forum: Innovation, Creativity & The Future Economy.
Northern Virginia faces a serious regional economic development challenge. This area leads in tech and AI growth, yet a substantial share of its federal, main street and knowledge-based economy – roughly 39% of jobs – is highly exposed to AI-driven automation and transformation. Compounded by federal workforce and contracting shifts, this creates pressing needs for workforce transition, broader innovation, and diversified economic resilience.
A key gap has emerged. The region’s strong technical capabilities have not been sufficiently integrated with creative insight and human-centered investments, leaving tech-creative synergy under-leveraged and limiting broader business and community impact.
Through our WestXDC “Creative Fusion Lab” initiative, we are applying targeted data science alongside our marketing expertise, right at the intersection of this challenge to catalyze thoughtful, cross-sector dialogue. The goal is to create intelligent, data-centric business, nonprofit, public sector and educational connections that enrich and humanize the ongoing AI developments – supporting practical pathways for collaboration, insight, and long-term regional vitality in a grounded way.
KME.digital is uniquely centered in this work, drawing on deep local roots in data intelligence, digital strategy, economic development, federal contracting and NOVA community-focused marketing to help bridge these divides.
If you’re in NOVA and interested in what’s unfolding – deliberate now, scaling quick – we’d welcome the conversation. Get tickets to the Event!
