Apple iOS 17 Adoption

Approximately 1.46 billion people worldwide use iPhones, around 18% of all smartphone users, making it highly likely that your mobile investigations will include Apple devices. As of Feb. 4, 2024, Apple has reported that 66% of all iOS devices (iPhones and iPads) are running iOS 17, and that figure jumps to 76% for devices introduced in the last four years.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Sales

With over a billion users worldwide, Samsung is second only to Apple in worldwide smartphone market share. Since its January 2024 launch, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series has been met with record-high demand worldwide so this top-of-the-line device will very likely appear in your evidence sources. Samsung already increased their first-quarter target from 12 to 13 million units and aims to sell more than 35 million units of the Galaxy S24 trio this year.
