FCC Publishes IoT Cybersecurity Labeling Program FNPRM in Fed. Reg.

On March 25, 2024, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking comment on mandating additional manufacturer disclosures as part of the voluntary cybersecurity labeling program for wireless internet of things products, thereby setting the comment and reply comment dates.

Comments are due on or before April 24, 2024.

Reply comments are due on or before May 24, 2024.

PRA comments are due on or before May 24, 2024.

The FCC also released a Public Notice announcing the comment dates.
